So who is this heckin' weirdo?

For those of you who know me already- hey guys, what's up! I miss the crap out of everyone. Pandemics suck. Living away from most of my friends sucks. So I'm going to try to make it better by launching some online work in the meantime.

So what is a 'town witch'?

It's the 'label' that I and a couple friends came up with that best encapsulates what the heck it is we do. We're a mix of a lot of different traditional types of witch- hedge witch, kitchen witch, green witch, you get the idea. The big 'extra' is that we seem to have ended up in positions where we use what we do to help a variety of people in our communities. Therefore we end up extending our craft to aiding others who don't necessarily have the same system as we do, and we also end up doing a lot of research outside of our personal practice in order to help others with what they need. For example, I'm very much an earth element witch. I'm a big fan of all environments, but I'm definitely most at home with terra firma. But I happen to work with a large number of high school or college aged girls, so guess who knows waaaaay more about ocean magic and mermaids than she ever personally needs to? This witch right here. I'm a weird mix of witch, therapist, life coach, extra mom, weird friend, and cheap entertainment.

So what's going to be on this blog?

A little bit of anything I feel is relevant, really. Information about the kind of tools and ideas I use in my craft will be common (I said I was mostly an earth witch- be prepared for a lot of crystals and stones and plants and animals.) I'll post about spells and rituals, philosophies and world events, and also probably a decent amount of art, as that's effectively my 'day job' and I'm trying to get a web presence to build that into a business.
